As a Computer Vision Engineer at Kova Labs, you’ll be building the core autonomy that defines how small aerial systems perceive and navigate the world. This isn’t a research-only role, it’s hands-on, field-driven engineering where every line of code gets tested in the real world.
You’ll work on the edge of perception, SLAM, object detection, and path planning, turning raw sensor data into reliable autonomy. You’ll design and train models with messy, real-world data, and ship systems that make our drones see, think, and act without human input.
This is a role for someone who wants to solve hard technical problems, deploy real systems, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in autonomous flight.
To apply, please email touko@kovahq.com with an open letter, your background, and 2–3 sentences describing your interest in Kova. We love personal projects, writings, and GitHub links too!
Please note that some roles may require security clearance or background verification before or after joining the team. If that’s the case, we’ll handle the process together and make sure you’re supported every step of the way.
